I managed an international guerilla marketing campaign for LA band Night Things, securing earned media placements and generating over 185k streams for the band’s debut album release.

The concept was this: in a world where modern technology has erased our ability to dream, the Office of Night Things is humankind’s last remaining dream repository, a shadowy global organization whose noble mission is to collect and archive everyone’s dream before it’s too late.



Working closely with design studio CHIPS and publicity agency Biz 3, I crafted and executed a comprehensive media strategy that included cryptic videos (above and below), social media takeovers, wildpostings in 6 North American cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Boston, and Toronto), a 1-800 hotline where people could record their dreams, as well as a physical “Dream Phone” installed on the street in Chinatown LA where anyone could come record their dreams or listen to dreams left by others.



The campaign was a resounding success, generating 185k album streams, 1.2k social media follows, thousands of voicemails, and organic media placements, earning both a cult following for the band and turning the dream phone into an underground LA landmark.
